This setup will allow the lowering of these tall goal posts by lying them over rather than a crane having to lift them vertically from the ground.

Just like the "Fixed Wheels" these wheels allow 1 person to wheel the PSG's the length of the pitch in relatve comfort.

However at some levels of the game the referee's have been known to take issue with the fixed wheels (as they sit on the line) for encroaching on the field of play.

Flip away wheels are able to be flipped clear of the field of play, then returned under the goals for movement.

Utilising 65mm high density foam inside PVC covers and fixed with velcro tabs pads are an essential part of any goal post these days.  Umpires flags are held in place by the velcro tabs.

Ground sleeves are the traditional method of installing goal posts and many flagpoles.  The pole slips into the ground sleeve and lifts out again for maintenance or the off season.  With most sports you can install an extra ground sleeve and shift your goals sideways to spread the wear on the turf in the goal square.
