The Patriot range are tapered in the upper portion of the pole.  Untapered poles taller than 6m often suffer from resonant harmonics due to vortex shedding at specific wind speeds.  By tapering the pole the tendncy for resonant harmonic vibraton is reduced.

Poles taller than 6m are usually made in 2 or more pieces for ease of handling, storage, shipping etc.  The cost of shipping in particular can vary dramatically with the destination of the pole and for this reason we prefer to quote poles taller than 6m separately with a destination specific quote, especially if we ship the pole in 1-piece.
